SUMMER TALE

Summer Tale is an illustrated book based on the short story by author Aelfrich Sparemberg. It is an intimate work that deals with self-knowledge and the relationship with others. The main character is a whale who has been abandoned by her pod and must find her place in the world. The illustrations have been made by hand and digitized later. I have kept the layout simple and clean to give more prominence to the illustrations. The result is a beautiful book that conveys calm and invites reflection.
